Aghia Fotia is located 11 Km South of Chios town,
near Neohori village, and is among the loveliest
beaches of Chios, with small pebbles and deep, clear,

as well as cafes.

Karfas is located 7 Km south of the town of Chios

Mavra Volia ( 5 Km. from Pyrgi) is a beach with
small black pebbles, cause of an upheaval
of the volcano overlooking the beach at the Prehistoric
Åra. There are three beaches, one next to the
other, under the same name, with deep, dark blue
waters. There are apartments and studios, cafes
and taverns offering fresh seafood, at Emporio,
nearby.

| ELINDA
BEACH |
Elinda is a well sheltered bay at the west part
of the island, near Anavatos. It is a wonderful
beach with thick sand and clear waters, ideal for
swimming and sunbathing. There is a wreck of a roman
ship not far from the shore. The name Elinda or
Alinda derives from the ancient Greek word "alios"
that means "marine".
